To enhance the opportunities and status of people with disabilities through education, training, employment, transport, sport and recreation.

The Greenbank Sports Academy is operated by Greenbank and is the North West’s leading sports and leisure facility for disabled people located in the Sefton Park area of Liverpool. We:

• Promote, encourage and develop affordable sports opportunities for fitness and leisure amongst disabled children and adults
• Provide facilities where elite disabled athletes can combine personal training with the achievement of coaching and educational qualifications
• Promote inclusion by offering sports and leisure facilities to the wider community.
• Offer education and employment opportunities for disabled people / disadvantaged groups in the sport / recreation / leisure industry
• Host regional, national and international events
• Promote, encourage and develop community based activities
