Basketball
Basketball is a team sport made up 2 teams of 5 players, who try to score points by throwing or ‘shooting’ a ball through a basket. Playing basketball offers you many benefits – as well as offering a great workout, working your heart and lungs, strengthen muscles and increasing your speed and agility playing basketball also gives you the chance to meet new people, make friends and work as a team.
Liverpool Greenbank Wheelchair Basketball
Training: 7 – 9pm Wednesday
The team plays in the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association League in Division Two North. Season is from September to May and match games are usually played at weekends.
Age: Over 16

Running game – City Hoops
City hoops is a basketball programme based on Merseyside offers children from the age of 6 to play basketball at their chosen level.
