The Sports Hall

The Sports Hall accommodates 2 basketball courts to International Wheelchair Basketball Federation standard. Courts are laid out for a large number of sports including basketball, badminton, boccia and handball. There is a also a range of equipment available to hire for use in the sports hall as well as moveable seating that can accommodate up to 500 people as spectators at events.
A range of national and international events have been held at the Academy including the Liverpool 08 International Disabled Table Tennis Tournament. It is also the home venue to Everton Tigers Basketball Club and Liverpool Greenbank Wheelchair Basketball Club.
