Monday, January 23rd, 2017

Congratulations to pupils from Alt Bridge School who won both the Primary and Secondary age categories in the Merseyside Schools MLD Football Tournament held at Greenbank Sports Academy on 20th January.

Twelve Merseyside schools took part and enjoyed a great day of competitive football.

Mark Horlick, LCFA Disability Football Development Officer said:

“The standard of play was very high, with some excellent games throughout the day, especially the finals in both age group categories, which were great to watch with very closely matched teams.

The hard work that teachers and coaches are providing to ensure the teams are ready to play is clearly evident with several talented players on show.”
