Players are wanted for the Open Singles Boccia Championships which takes place at Greenbank Sports Academy on Sunday 20^th March from 10am to 6pm.

The event is open to disabled people from any area and players will be divided into classifications dependent on their disability and functional ability – Functional categories for sport and disabled people.

Event organiser Steve Sullivan said:

“The event offers a great opportunity to play Boccia and get recognition for your skills – medals are awarded for first and second place in each category.”

The entry fee is £5 per competitor and cheques should be made payable to North West Boccia Development Association.
