DESCRIPTION:Power hockey is a sport that’s played in electric wheelchairs
  with people (who often have cerebral palsy or Duchenne’s Muscular Dystr
 ophy - two life-limiting conditions) chasing after a hockey-size ball and 
 physical contact is permitted.\n\nPeople of any age play the game with the
 ir non-disabled friends\, coaches and siblings and often\, because disable
 d people use an electric wheelchair daily\, they are much better players\,
  which is a great way to boost self-esteem and confidence.\n\nPower Hockey
  gives severely disabled people and those with limited mobility an opportu
 nity to play a fast\, contact sport for the first time. Players can play f
 or fun or compete with Greenbank Power Hockey Club in the regional and nat
 ional league competitions. Clubs are being developed around the country.\n
