The Greenstock Festival is organised to coincide with the Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) and is a free entry live music and art festival happening at Greenbank Sports Academy on Sat 23 August 2014 from 12noon until 11pm.

The theme of the event is “magical garden” and it will feature an eclectic mix of live music, performances, art, workshops and activities for all ages, all within the Sports Academy’s grounds.

Every inch of space will be transformed for the day into a magical festival environment.

Other key attractions include: A sensory trail, Shadow puppet installation, Fairy houses, Lawn games, Photo booth

Festival Co-ordinator, Lindsey Kinsella said “It’s great to be a part of LIMF and be able to showcase some fantastic musicians at Greenstock. The event gives us a great opportunity to engage with the local community as part of a much bigger international festival and all the excitement and creativity that goes with it.

I hope that as many people as possible are able to join us to be entertained by fantastic musicians, mysterious characters and get lost in our magical garden”.
