Merseyside Ability Counts Football League Fixture

We were delighted to host the second of three fixture dates this season for the FA Merseyside Ability Counts League on Friday 30 January.

Teams playing in three Ability Counts Leagues; Primary Physical Disability (PD), Secondary Severely Learning Disability (SLD) and Secondary Physical Disability were involved, as local schools battled it out to finish on top.

Mark Horlick, LCFA Disability Football Development Officer said “It’s great to be able to offer disabled children the chance to compete, on a regular basis, with other players of the same standard. The competition is fierce and it’s fantastic to see how much it means to the players to be part of a league”.

The Primary PD league involves teams from Princes and Millstead schools and is currently topped by Princes A team, who are unbeaten after 8 games.
