Forty-five children from six schools representing Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral took part in the Primary Panathlon Challenge at Greenbank Sports Academy on 8th March.

The event was organised and funded by Panathlon –  a national charity that provides sporting opportunities to over 7,500 disabled young people a year.

Sports on offer included boccia, table tennis, football and sports hall athletics and the children all had a fantastic time.

After a day of fun competition, the winners’ trophy was presented to Wirral who had a two-point lead on nearest rival, Liverpool and finished on forty-four points.
