Greenbank Open Boccia Tournament 2019

Greenbank Sports Academy welcomed disabled players from across England and Wales to the Greenbank Open Boccia Tournament 2019 on Sunday 20 January.

Winners on the day were:

BC5 Kyle Martin (Sheffield)

BC6 Mark Bedford (Greenbank Giants)

BG7 (Visually Impaired) Chris Huddersty (Blackpool)

BG8 Neil Pitchford (Telford)

Organiser Steve Sullivan said: Another highly entertaining Boccia event which provided players of all abilities the opportunity to compete against players from across the country. These tournaments are important for the development of the players and highlights the great work coaches are delivering within their clubs.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this event a huge success.

To encourage further development of Boccia, we have a Team Boccia Tournament for players with a disability on Sunday 17 March 2019 and a Merseyside Open Singles Boccia Tournament on Sunday 21 July 2019.
