Table Tennis

Table tennis is a sport which can be played as singles, doubles or teams.

The game involves hitting a lightweight, ball back and forward using table tennis bats, on a hard table divided by a net.  Except for the initial serve, players must allow a ball played toward them only one bounce on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side. Points are scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules.

5 sets can be played, up to 11 points and the first to win 3 sets wins the game

Play is fast and demands quick reactions; this increases co-ordination, speed, stamina and flexibility.
