Whether you are looking for space to play basketball, badminton, football, table tennis (or any other indoor sport) or wanting to organise an event (sporting or non-sporting) then the sports hall at Greenbank Sports Academy is ideal.
For individual users and sports clubs
We have a double sized sports hall and a range of equipment including sports wheelchairs and other disability sports equipment available to hire (a charge may be payable for the loan of some items).

Boccia – £12.00 per hour, per court
Table Tennis – £9.00 per hour, per table
We also support the development of disability sports clubs and the sports hall is the chosen venue for a number of clubs. For further details see our What’s On section for the time and dates of inclusive sports sessions.
Event organisers
Whatever the scale of event, the sports hall offers flexible space which is suitable for a range of sporting and non-sporting events. Movable seating that can accommodate up to 500 people is available.
A range of national and international events have been held at the Academy including Merseyside Open Fencing Tournament, Roller Derby, Polio Fellowship Games and a British Masters Lightweight Boxing Title Fight.
