More than fifty children, representing schools from across Merseyside took part in the Pan Disability Boccia Tournament at Greenbank Sports Academy on 2nd November 2015.

The event was a qualifier for the Lord’s Taverners Regional Boccia Tournament, which will be held at the Academy in February. Finalists West Kirby Residential School’s A and C teams earned the right to play at the event and represent the region.

Choices Development Officer Steve Sullivan, who organised the tournament, commented:

“Congratulations to all the players who took part in the competition. The standard of play improves every year and we’ve seen some great games throughout the day.

A big thank you to all volunteers and referees from who did an excellent job to help the tournament run as smoothly as possible.”
