Merseyside Ability Counts Day Centre League
Greenbank Sports Academy played host to the Merseyside Ability Counts Day Centre League on 4 November.
Competition was fierce as teams from Oakfield, Acorn Farm, St Helens, Dunnigsbridge Centre, Kirkby Activity Centre and WSC took part.
Mark Horlick, LCFA Disability Football Development Officer said “This was the first match day of the season and the centres will now play 7 times. This week’s fixtures set up us nicely for the Disability Just Play sessions that will run at Greenbank Sports Academy from 12 until 2pm on Tuesdays for 10 weeks. This is open to disabled adults and is free of charge.
Thank you to all volunteers who supported and helped deliver the event. Well Done to everyone involved.”
Kirkby Activity Centre currently top the league with 14 points.
