Merseyside Schools Boccia Tournament 2014
Congratulations to all the players who took part in the Merseyside Boccia Tournament 2014 on 3 November at Greenbank Sports Academy. The standard of play improves every year and this tournament included some excellent games throughout the day.
The high standard is testament to the hard work of coaches and teachers to prepare the children for this event.
Following the tournament Woodchurch High B (Wirral), Alt Bridge C (Knowsley), Clare Mount A (Wirral) and St Vincent’s B (Liverpool) will be invited to represent the North West in the Lord Taverners Regional Pan Disability competition taking place on Thursday 5th February 2015 at Greenbank Sports Academy
Event organiser Steve Sullivan said “A big thank you to all volunteers and referees who did an excellent job to help the tournament run as smoothly as possible. Special thanks to Sam Williams who organised the results table so professionally and ensured the tournament finished on time”.
