Teams Wanted for Boccia Tournament 2016
Following on from the success of the Merseyside Open Boccia Tournament held on 4th October we are organising a team event which will be held at the Academy on Sunday 24th January.
The tournament is open to centres and clubs with disabled members (people with learning, physical or sensory impairment).
Each club/centre can enter a maximum of four teams of four players. Three players can play at any one time and the reserve can be substituted during the game but only on completion of an end.
Medals will be presented to the winning and second place team.
The tournament will be played to BISFed rules.
Event organiser Steve Sullivan said:
“Boccia is a priority development sport at the Academy and the opportunity to play competitively is so important to improve standards. I would encourage as many teams as possible to get involved.”
Entry Forms need to be emailed or faxed (0151 280 2267) by 8th January 2016.
