Novice winners, Merefield

More than 50 local pupils from Crosby High (2 teams), West Kirby Residential, Woodchurch High, Merefield and Alt Bridge (2 teams) schools took part in an exciting Basketball Tournament at Greenbank Sports Academy on 18^th January.

The teams were split according to playing ability to ensure the best experience for everyone involved.

Tournament organiser Steve Sullivan said:

“Players demonstrated some excellent skills throughout the event and the teams were evenly matched, producing three exciting finals. Congratulations to all the players involved.

Thanks to the support of volunteers and staff from Greenbank the day has been a great success.”
