Christmas Cup winners, PHAB Hut

Seven teams from the Merseyside Ability Counts Adult Day Services League took part in the closely fought Christmas Cup, held at Greenbank Sports Academy on 15^th December.

Kirkby AC, PHAB Hut, Skem Menaces (2 teams), St Helens and Acorn Farm (2 teams) enjoyed some festive football to decide the cup winner.

PHAB Hut took the title topping the league with just a single point lead over rivals Acorn Farm (1), after remaining unbeaten throughout the day.

Mark Horlick, Disability Football Development Officer at Liverpool County FA commented:

“The tournament has been great – there’s been a fantastic atmosphere and everyone has really enjoyed taking part.

We’re back to it on the 5^th January when the next league fixture takes place at the Academy.”
