More than 80 competitors from across the country took part in the Team and Pairs Boccia Tournament, held at Greenbank Sports Academy, on 21^st October.

Organiser Steve Sullivan commented:

“This was a very friendly and competitive event which resulted in two excellent finals between evenly matched teams.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who supported the event on the day and to the club coaches and staff, who trained the competitors to such a high standard and ensured that the players enjoyed the event.”

He added:

“Boccia is a priority development sport at the Academy and we have organised a singles event for disabled players only. The Greenbank Open Singles Boccia Tournament 2018 will take place on Sunday 21^st January and the closing date for entries is 12th January.”
