We are hoping to secure £10,000 from Aviva Community Fund to offer opportunities for disabled adults to take part in sport at Resource Centres across Liverpool and at its own venue. Sports on offer would include Boccia, Football, Table Tennis and Multi-Sport. However, to be in with a chance, the project needs as many votes as possible before 30 May!

Sport Development Officer, Mark Palmer stressed what a difference the project could make to disabled people:

“Taking part in sport offers so many positives for participants including social opportunities, focusing on achievements as well as the obvious health benefits that doing physical activity brings.

For disabled people such opportunities are limited and this project is all about making a difference to people’s everyday lives”
